RMS, established in 1983, first started supplying penetrators into fields in the North Sea in 1985.

By designing for reliability using innovative technology, RMS was able to improve the reliability of penetrator systems and we are now the preferred supplier for all the operators in the North Sea for both Wellhead and Packer penetrators.

Since those early days we have developed our technology to enable us to have the appropriate product and technology for different applications and well conditions, enabling us to grow into export markets, with the first export penetrator being supplied in 1987.

With the experience and knowledge accumulated through successful penetrator design, and working closely with the industry, we have developed a range of power and instrument wet-mateable connectors for subsea applications. These incorporate innovative technology in order maintain the integrity of the product through repeated make and break cycles.

RMS is now part of James Fisher and Sons Plc, who are investing in RMS funding growth into new export markets whilst maintaining our core principal of ‘Designing for Reliability’
