RMSpumptools packer penetrators are single piece products, often with a factory moulded MLE and pothead. By fitting these in a controlled environment two potential weak points in the completion; the lower connector and the splice onto the
MLE, are removed.

RMSpumptools penetrators are fitted to the packer
by way of an adapter. These adapters fit all
RMSpumptools penetrators and are
available as fixed oradjustable (5”, 8” & 24”)
with the option to offset, giving a range of
options to suit every completion.

RMSpumptools also produce a breakaway penetrator for use in offshore drill stem testing and is designed to maintain the pressure integrity of the well should the workover rig be blown off station.

Specification:

• 140A to 180A, 5kV Tested to IEC502 (5kV system tested to 28kV)
• Pressure tested to 150% of operating pressure
• Stainless steel body as standard to NACE MR01-75
• Universal fitting to all Packer types
